Parameter dbs/hdb/schema is hash out

Dear  Mentors,

We are facing strange issue,As we know Profile paramater  dbs/hdb/schema = <Schema name> should be set to connect application  with HANA. But in our case if we hash out this parameter,then only our application is coming up. We search profile directory, nowhere this parameter is maintain apart from default.pfl

Problem is Concept is defeating. Can u please help, how is this possible
